Hot Vinyasa Classes

This Hot Yoga consists of a set series of 26 postures, repeated twice and held for a specified amount of time. Every class is the same, but your experience is always different. You’ll be amazed how incredible you’ll feel after only 1 class! How cool is that? We LOVE the absolute beginner.

Hot Vinyasa Classes

Vinyasa Yoga is a dynamic, flowing form of yoga connecting the movement from one pose to the next with the breath. Practice to music and challenge your endurance, flexibility and strength. Great compliment to the Hot26 Series. Some yoga experience is helpful, but not necessary.

Hot Fusion Yoga

Fusion Yoga Class

Fusion Yoga incorporates elements from the Hot26 series, Vinyasa, HIIT and a little Yin. This structured class with music is designed to invigorate and motivate you to create space within your body and mind. Variations of postures with the opportunity to explore your balance, strength and flexibility, focusing on alignment and going beyond your comfort zone.

Yinyasa Classes

"Hot Yinyasa" is a balanced class igniting your yang energy and nurturing your yin energy. First half of class links movements together for a continuous flow (vinyasa). Second half of class is on the floor, as you settle into holding postures for 2-5 minutes, taking you deep into the connective tissue (yin). Come explore the boundaries of your physical body and build mental endurance.

Yinyasa Classes

Yogalates is a wonderful, empowering combination of Yoga, Pilates, Pranayama (breathing exercises), Mediation and Relaxation. Take your self-care practice to another level. Build core strength, tone muscles, gain stamina, flexibility and balance your mind. You’ll leave class feeling revitalized, refreshed, less stressed and ready for your day!

Hot Yin

Hot Yin Class

Yin is the "meditative” yoga; unique in that you relax into a pose, soften the muscle and release closer to the bone and joints. Postures are held for sustained periods of time, allowing muscles to relax and the deep connective tissue to be gently stretched. Gain more flexibility in the joints, calm and balance the mind and body. This practice of “quiet power” encourages you to explore energetic principals, cultivate compassion and refine awareness. Perfect for the beginner to advanced yogi.

Kirtan & Meditation
When: Sat, May 11th
Time: 11am-12pm
Cost: $20 pre-pay/$25 at the door if there’s space

 

7 Chakras

Kirtan is Sanskrit for ‘to repeat’. It is a call and response chanting with a rhythmic quality that invokes a joyful mood and can lead to profound states of meditation. You don’t need a good voice, the chant is easy to follow and it’s a very pleasurable experience.

Meditation is challenging because it's so hard to quiet the mind. Judi will lead us in a guided meditation giving us the tools to help find our inner peace and calm amidst the craziness of our everyday lives.

You should come. With a friend. It’s only an hour and you’ll really enjoy it. Reserve your spot.

Judi Hamsa Spagnola, TRM, C-IAYT, E-RYT500, is a Traditional Reiki Master, Interfaith Minister of Spiritual Healing and Certified Yoga Therapist who shares her knowledge with compassion and an open heart. Integral Yoga Certified, she has been teaching for over 40 years. She created and developed the Adaptive Gentle/Chair Yoga Teacher Training Program & Manual for The Integral Yoga Institute and also teaches for the National MS Society. She's our Chakra, Reiki Healing Circle, and Meditation Yogini and we love having her at the Studio.

BUTI Yoga
When: Sat, May 18th

Hot Vinyasa Classes

BUTI Yoga is a fun, music-driven HIIT class incorporating dynamic yoga postures & Yin yoga with primal movement, cardio-dance bursts + deep core conditioning. It releases trauma at a cellular level and is a great complement to your Hot26 and Vinyasa practice. Truly a body and soul workout in a very unique way. Room will be hot.


Stephanie Neligan ~ Stephanie's mom dragged her to her first Bikram yoga class in 2010. She fell in love with the practice finding the physical intensity of the class thrilling, but more importantly, the mental clarity she needed in her life. She started branching out into other forms of yoga and received her Buti Yin Yoga certification in February 2019 in NYC. Stephanie loves all forms of yoga and is excited to share her energy and expertise with HYRB and we’re happy to have her!

Master Class

Master Class

Limited registration ~ Class will be challenging ~ Must have a steady practice

Experience some of the advanced postures of the Hot26 series!
Pranayama, sun salutations, hip opening sequence, arm balances, some inversions, lotus, splits and more! Take your practice to the next level with demos and touch corrections. It will definitely be a fun class with lots of assists and laughing at each other falling all over the place. The room will be heated and we highly recommend you take the 9:00am class prior to this workshop so your body is nice and warmed up.


Jeanne Orzano has been practicing yoga since 2003, found Bikram Yoga in 2004, became certified in 2006 and has taught at many studios. HYRB was lucky enough to have her for 11 years before she moved to Virginia. Jeanne has always found the internal and external challenges of hot yoga help to focus her mind and calm her body. First exposed to Thai Body work in Mexico in 2020, she began studying the practice and incorporating it slowly into her teaching, receiving her level 1 certification this year. Continuing to develop and advance her Thai Bodywork Practice, Jeanne finds that the combination of Thai Bodywork with a consistent yoga practice brings a steady balance to her hectic schedule and life as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Senior Practice Manager.

Restorative

Time: 10:30am-12pm

Restorative Class

Quiet your mind, soothe your nervous system and restore your spirit. Yoga poses are held for an extended period time using various props to support your body. This allows you to relax more deeply (OK melt) into the postures and release tension, recover from fatigue and anxiety. Take a well-deserved break and treat yourself (and a loved one) to this peaceful practice of relaxation and rejuvenation. No heat for this event. No yoga experience necessary.




Christina Cruz, RYT/LMT/Thai Yoga Massage Therapist is a native New Yorker practicing yoga for over 20 years. She was inspired to become a teacher in 2011. Christina has a passion for sharing self-care techniques and believes the benefits of yoga have the potential to positively permeate all areas of life, giving one a sense of health and well-being, strength, balance, flexibility, inner peace and clarity, both on and off the mat. Her classes are creative, informative, approachable and fun. HYRB is happy she’s teaching this workshop!
